Mahim Chellappa - Principal
Mahim Chellappa is Principal of Tembusu Partners and Director of Blue Ocean Capital Partners.

Before joining Tembusu Partners in January 2010, he was Director at Jefferies Singapore, where he advised Southeast Asia clients on M&A and capital raising transactions, including private equity, mezzanine debt, and high yield bonds.

Formerly Director at Credit Suisse and Vice President at Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup) in New York, Mahim has advised over 100 global clients in several industries, including Industrials, Consumer Products, Technology, Agriculture Commodities, Mining, Utilities, Telecom, Biotech, and Real Estate. His product expertise includes private equity, leveraged finance, M&A and derivatives.

Mahim has also run a proprietary investment fund with key strategies centered on fundamental value and global macro trends.

Prior to receiving his MBA in Finance from Cornell University, he worked for the Federal Reserve Board’s International Finance Division in Washington, DC, and NERA Economic Consulting. Prior to receiving his BA in Economics cum laude from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, he was awarded an internship on Capitol Hill.
