Khoong Hock Yun Appointed Vice Chairman of Tembusu Partners
Tembusu Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Khoong Hock Yun as Vice Chair. With over 30 years of experience in both public and private sectors, Mr Khoong brings deep expertise in digital transformation, infrastructure, and technology investment.
Mr Khoong currently serves as Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Moringa Ventures, the deep tech venture building unit of Tembusu Partners. He joined the firm in 2018 following an accomplished career in the Singapore public service, where he held senior roles including Chief Digital Evangelist, Chief Data Officer and Chief Officer looking after all Industry and Infrastructure Development work at the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). There, he spearheaded initiatives such as the Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network and laid the groundwork for Singapore’s Smart Nation programme.
In the private sector, he has held regional and global leadership roles in the high-tech industry, guided technology commercialisation efforts, and served as an external evaluator for institutional innovation funds.
As Vice Chair, Mr Khoong will play a strategic advisory role across Tembusu’s activities, with a focus on growing its deep technologies venture pipeline and strengthening the firm’s engagement with founders, families, and capital partners.
